We are excited to bring the 3^rd annual Green Stride Newburyport Half Marathon & Relay on October 20^th! We experienced tremendous growth in 2012 and look forward to continuing a great tradition here in 2013. Fresh off being voted by the runners as the “Best Half Marathon” in the North Shore as well as the “Best Post-Race Party” by the North Shore Road Race Guide, we plan on keeping our fun, scenic and challenging environment as the standard to what Green Stride produces.

The biggest change coming from previous years is going to be our cash prize increase to top 5 both male and female ($1,000 first place). We are also adding a cash prize for our masters. The post-race party with good food, great beer and rockin' bands will be a carry on tradition for 2013 and beyond. The historic, scenic course and ideal October running conditions in New England are sure to bring a wonderful atmosphere to Newburyport on October 20th.

Located at 260 Merrimac St. with a start time of 11:00am, all pre-registered runners will receive a top-quality shirt (TBD) as well as another original end-of-race medal. Please stay tuned as more will be announced.
